It's Quite Shocking Isn't It? [Silverstone]

He forced out a laugh at her first question which quickly dissolved away when Jamie grasped his stiff hand again and guided it once more. His eyes just watched their linked hands and he swallowed another lump in his throat before forming stumbling words from his mouth.

"N-No..." He hasn't really had much contact expect with friendly punches in the arm from his pals, or a clasp on the back, or a simple friendly handshake. That's it. He would avoid brushing shoulders or arms with people he didn't know and or friends when he wore t-shirts that exposed his bare arms.

His eyes locked onto her's then when she placed his hand on her knee. A cherry red hue spilled on his cheeks and he felt his pulse racing. He didn't say anything, but just stared at her wondering what she would do next. He wondered that if he said he was fine, where would she guide his hand next? And so he didn't say anything.

Jamilyn slowly shook her head when she heard him say no in such a nervous way. Her eyes closed for a few seconds thinking about what to do next. He hasn't told her to stop moving his hand, but she could feel how nervous he was. Reopening her eyes she saw the coloring of his cheeks making her giggle a little bit.

"And I thought you were so cool with the ladies" she teased, trying to bring out the smart alecy side of him again. He looked so.. Vulnerable in this moment. Before he'd been so cool and collected, was the idea of touching someone that shocking? Her hand gently picked his up, bringing it up to the curve of her hip, resting it there as she looked at him with a gentle gaze. "Am I making you nervous?"

Oh God, he couldn't believe where she just placed his hand now. Well he should have a least expected it, but he just didn't give it any thought. He wanted to say that looks could be deceiving or that he was just an amazingly good actor when it came to making himself look so cool and collected. He just couldn't believe that he was cracking under a simple touch! It wasn't like he was doing anything illegal. But, his mind wondered to where she would guide his hand next, Gah! Why was he having such a dirty thoughts?! He was going to stop it right then and there before he just lost it.

He slipped his hand away and placed both hands on her shoulders. Yes, shoulders were fine. Nothing wrong with touching shoulders. Bending his head down, he took a silent inhale of breath, trying to slow his racing pulse down. His cheeks were still a red color and he willed it to go away, but it was only slightly fading. He needed to think of something witty to reply back, a comment that will support his crumbling wall of collected coolness and clarity. He found none. So, he just focused on finding his sanity.

Jamilyn watched him, waiting for the witty response. When nothing came, she giggled a little even when he put his hands on her shoulders. 'Boys..' she lifted her hand up to ruffle his hair when his head went down. She'd have to be careful with him if he reacted so strongly to a simply touch. Or had she put his hand somewhere inappropriate? She hadn't thought of that, but it wasn't as if she'd put his hand anywhere that wasn't decent, sure the hip had been a touchy subject but that was where men usual put their hand while dancing with a female didn't they?
"You're adorable like this" She confessed in a whisper, moving her hands down to rest in her lap. Even though it was a true confession from her, she was using it to try to spark in him the wit she'd come to expect from him. Hopefully he'd be okay..

"Tell me something I don't know," he murmured and even with his head down, you could hear the smirk on his lips that spread.
He was slowly gaining his wits together and the red hue on his cheeks was disappearing. He lifted his head and then silently exhaled a breath he held. He looked at her completely his normal self as if what happened never happened.

"Anyway, wasn't there something you wanted me to do before you got all touchy feel-y?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. He was sort of suspecting that that was a way to make him avoid turning on her nerves or something even when she said she trusted him. Girls... Android girls, he thought with a mental eye roll.

When he responded to her she could help but stick her tongue out, an almost automatic response to his smart alec ways. "Uhm, if vampires try to bite batteries they get a mouth full of acid?" She retorted easily to his witty response.

She furrowed her eyebrows at his words about her becoming all touchy feely. He was the one who had reacted in such a way. Her arms crossed, giving him an even look, before realizing she had asked him to turn her nerves on. "Oh right! You were going to turn on my nerves..." She clasped her hands together to give him a sweet look, "Can you please still turn them on for me?" Knowing what she had just done, she felt the need to plead with him to her this favor.

Ryu rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Didn't know my hands felt that good." he joked due to her pleading, an even bigger smirk playing on his lips now. The witty responses were coming easily now and he was pleased with that. The memory still made him a bit jittery and he bit back a blush, shoving the memory away. He swiftly changed spots from sitting in front of her, to sitting behind her.

"Alright, so which button or switch is the right one?" he asked while waiting for her to lift up her hair to revel the control panel. He pulled his gloves back on so he wouldn't shock her control panel and risk damaging her.

Jamilyn scowled at him joke, only holding it for a few moments before smiling ruefully at him. He was so easily back on track making her happy that he hadn't been too affected by her experiment.

"There is a switch in the very back that is slid upward, with the symbol NRCN, slide it downward and that should turn them on..." She explained lifting her hair up to reveal the drive and the number pad that he needed to access her control panel. "You can play with the panel all you want, just remember to bring me back okay?" She teased, pressing a button on her lifted arm so that it locked in place; in order to keep it up when he took out her control panel. She'd be taking a nap for a little while, hopefully it wouldn't freak him out as much as the other experiment. "The code: 52647666.." She re-uttered the code,

"Don't worry, I'll remember." he said with a small nod and then wondered what she meant when she said bring her back? Oh well, he'll find out sooner or later.
Ryu nodded and mumbled the code repeatedly under his breath as he typed it in. With gentle care, he took out her control panel. He stared at all the buttons he saw on he control panel and still remembered what button he had to switch on. He looked to the very back and found the switch with the symbol, NRCN. With his index finger, he slide the switch downwards like she instructed. For a moment he studied her control panel, lifting it up so he could have a look under and then looking back at the buttons. He wondered what they all did, but didn't have that adventurous of a gull to see what they did. He placed this amount of trust in his hands to see her and touch her control panel, he didn't want to accidentally shut her down or mess anything up. With a small sigh of accomplishment, he carefully slide her control panel back where it belonged.

As the control panel was removed, Jamilyn's head slumped forward, like a rag doll's. Te only thing that stayed in place was her upper torso and locked arm. The color of her skin became that of silver, for the control panel controlled the pigments that made her look human.

In the 'sleep' mode Jamilyn no longer existed, all that was there was an android a motionless, lifeless, piece of metal.

"Restarting, recalculating... rebooting systems" The words came out of her mouth when the control panel was put back into it's place. Her head lifted upward, tilting slightly as if to rattle a few screws.
"That always feels so weird" She laughed, her voice back to normal. Quickly she adjusted herself so she was facing him, observing her hands as if something new was going to be there; nothing changed expect the coloring of her skin returning to pale. "Pinch me?"

Ryu jumped a bit when her head snapped up and he hadn't noticed that she was turned off when he had her control panel in his hands. She turned to face him and blinked when she asked him to pinch her. Without saying a word, he did as she asked and pinched her upper arm lightly. He hoped she could feel the pinch even with his gloves on.

"Did you feel that?" he asked with a raised eyebrow as he dropped his hand back to his side.

" Thank you.." Jamilyn smiled at him, despite the pinch. It hadn't felt like anything but a little squeeze, that discouraged her a bit, "Not really.." She frowned, looking down at her hands. Maybe the switch hadn't worked the way it was meant to, she'd never felt pressure like the pinch before but it didn't feel like anything. Her head slumped in an almost defeated manor. " This stupid body is hopeless" She cursed herself under her breath, taking the ineffective feeling more seriously than needed.
Sighing softly, she looked up, "Oh well, at least we tried right?" she honestly gave up on the hopes of feeling things in that moment, she was an android only meant to make people happy not be happy herself. Her creator was still tormenting her even after all this time.

Ryu nodded and rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry that it didn't work." he said while looking to the side. It rather sucked that it didn't work for he was rather hoping it would since she seemed so excited and hopeful that it would, only to be handed disappointment.
Noticing how down she looked, Ryu patted her head softly. "I'm sure we'll find another way." he said with a small soft grin. He didn't want her to give up hope, but he didn't want to also give her high hopes. He was thinking about offering to make her a new control panel, but the device looked very complex he doubted that he had the amount of money to buy the components he needed. Made he could make a new nerve system and just add it to her design? The idea was very tempting indeed, but he needed to draw up more ideas and a better understanding of it before he reached out and gave Jamie the hope of that it could work.

Jamilyn sighed again, "I can feel pressure though, that's something right?" Her eyes lifted to him, giving a small hopeful smile.

Her arms stretched upward, even though she wasn't anywhere near tired. "So you seriously don't know why girls aren't gathering at your doorstep?" She asks, flopping backward, only to hit the couch on the way down. Her body winced, rubbing the back of her head. It was a weird reaction, why would her body wince to something she didn't even feel? Her eyes narrowed a little at the thought.

Ryu blinked at her question and then his famous smirk crawled onto his lips as he sat forward, resting his elbows the arm rest, the palm of his hand resting on his cheek. He watched her with his smirk still on his face.

"Maybe I do or maybe I don't. I just don't really pay that much attention to girls. Sure, I notice their double glaces at me, but I pretty much give them the cold shoulder I just keep to myself," he drawled a bit and gave her a small shrug like this was something he was used to and lived with it everyday of his 'awesome' life. "Why do you care so much if I don't have girls fawning over me at my door step, hm?" he asked with a curious and yet playful gleam in his eyes. He was very curious to know why she wanted to know or cared so much. "Why don't you want all the boys?"
Two can play at this question game, he thought to himself rather a bit smugly.

Jamilyn looked at him with an interested gaze, listening to his words; but could only smirk when he said he'd give girls the cold shoulders. "I didn't get the cold shoulder" She teased, seeing what his response to that would be. Would he say she wasn't a girl? It made her smirk grow, only to fade when he asked his question, adjusting her seating so she sat straight up looking at him.
"I just want to put the information into the file I've started on you" She slid her eyes away from him, rolling her shoulders to keep herself from blushing, it wasn't exactly a lie was it? At his question her not wanting 'all' the boys, she arched her eyebrows and leaned forward to poke his chest, "I'm an android, that in itself should be the answer" Her tone was joking, the smirk returning to her lips. It was truth to her, being an android was the exact reason she didn't want all the boys, because none of them would really want her. She shook her head to rid herself of that thought, keeping the grin on her face. "Would you even know what to do with a girl if she showed interest in you?" She asks, wanting to continue their little banter of question and answer. Perhaps her question was too personal, he didn't have to answer it really.

No, he didn't give her the cold shoulder. He kind of did when he asked her why she was staring at him rather rudely, but he knew there was something off about her and just decided to find out, so maybe he didn't. He rolled his eyes at her reason and he found it rather lame. Just because she was an android? Please... "I'm sure there is one or a few boys you want, Jamie." Unless she wasn't into boys then he complete understood and respected her sexual interest.

He raised an eyebrow at her question. "I'm a guy, of course I would know what to do." he said with a slight playful scoff and placed a hand over his heart as if offended in a teasing way. He really would know what to do, but girls were still enigmas. Hell, all boys thought that about girls. He's read enough books to understand how to act, but no way would he admit that. His excuse would most likely be he had a lot of free time on his hands and in all honesty, he really did have a lot of free time on his hands.

Her eyes slid over to look at his face when he said that about the boys she could possibly want. "Of course there is.. I'm just.." She shook her head, not wanting to get into that type of conversation, she'd probably fall into the self-loathing part of her programming and din't want to go anywhere near that. "I'm not the type of girl men find attractive" She finished, making it sound like a joke for she continued to smirk at him.

Jamilyn's eyes narrowed at him, he may not have wanted to remember what had happened earlier but she did. He, who reacted in such a way to a simple touch, was saying he knew what to do? It seemed almost like he was joking. Crossing her arms over her chest, she grinned at him. "Prove it" Her tone was dead serious, if he knew what to do it shouldn't be a problem for him to prove it to her, would it? She'd have to wait and see.

Both of his eyebrows shot up as she said men wouldn't find her attractive and when she said there was someone or some people... that made him rather curious and he wanted to know. "You really need to have more confidence in yourself, Jamie. I'm sure there are guys who find you beautiful and yet you don't even know they exist! You are a beautiful girl after all."
Now that little comment made him think of a book he read and it totally sounded like the plot of the book. He mentally punched himself for even saying that, but it needed to be said. Jamie was attractive young woman and she needed to be told that a least. He then blinked when he told him to prove that he knew what to do. How could he prove it? Walk to some random girl off the street and sweep them off their feet? No way. Or did she expect him to do something to her? He stared at her and then crossed his arms across his chest.

"Why do I need to prove it to you?" he asked curiously as he narrowed his eyes a bit. Did she not trust him or believe his small lie? After all the trust she said he had in him, where did that go?!

Jamilyn's cheeks flushed darkly as he spoke, lowering her head to gather her composure. "You could write a book with sayings like that" She admitted, looking back up at him with an honest smile. She hadn't expected him to say that, or to say anything at all about the way she looked. It made her happy yet embarrassed at the same time.

Her arms stayed crossed over her own chest, giving him a challenging look. "If you went into shock just by touching me, I can't honestly believe you would know what to do if a girl said she was interested in you" She explained, her smirk returned, she didn't really know how he would prove it. But hey, he could pretend to play it out with Lord Meow if he wanted to. It wasn't that she didn't trust in his words, she just couldn't believe it from previous examples he'd shown. "Have you honestly even kissed a girl?" She asked in a manor that was defiantly over stepping a boundary. It simply came out, making her cover her mouth when it did. Would he snap at her, if he did she couldn't say she didn't deserve it.

"I was just not expecting you to just... you know!" he said throwing his arms in the air to exaggerate. "I think a good handful of guys would be shocked." He took a deep breath and gave her a sour look, but if she really wanted him to prove it he would take on the challenge. He liked challenges.

Ryu blinked and raked a hand through his hair as he then looked at her. "Maybe I have or maybe I have not." he said and then looked away, the red hue returning to his cheeks again. In honesty, no, he had not kissed a girl for he probably wouldn't have the gull to do it.
He cleared his throat and then shook his head. Why were they even talking about this? More importantly, why was she so curious? He was doubting that this was really for a file she created about him, but kept it to himself.

"You expected me to be shy about you touching me? You said yourself that you'd never really felt another person with your hands before. I mean, come on I was doing you a favor!" She pointed at him, not enjoying the sour look that he shot at her. It made her narrow her eyes at him. She hadn't meant to get snippy with him, it just came out.

Jamilyn tilted her head, covering her mouth as a small giggle escaped her. "When a boy gets flustered while answering a yes or now question, and don't give that response you just did; usually means 'No'" She recrossed her arms, giving him a knowing look, her eyes saw the redness on his face; it was just like earlier. 'Adorable really' her thoughts bugged her like a nagging mother, making her head shake to try and get ride of them. Sure her questions were getting personal, but she could still make sure they were put under the title of 'research' couldn't they?

"Of course you should be shy! Your... your a girl and just... you know! Just... you know!" he was spluttering words now and probably didn't make sense. He was flustered that she was bringing it back up! He then narrowed his eyes at her. "No, that doesn't usually mean 'no'. It means I'm not telling you even if you get on your knees and beg me to tell you." Ugh, he was acting so childish just because of a simply question about his relationships. He hated it.

He crossed his arms cross his chest and pouted a bit, turning away from her as he leaned against the arm rest of the couch. He was getting a bit sour now and very pouty. "And here I though you were an innocent girl, Jamie..." he mumbled.

Jamilyn listened to him, and instantly felt bad for making him become so flustered. Her hand went over her mouth, not wanting to say anything more at the risk of upsetting him even further. Once he was done speaking, she noted that he had shifted into pouting. If she hadn't been the cause of what had made him so upset she would have laughed.

Instead she got off the couch, stepping so she could stand beside the arm rest that he leaned on. "Look, I'm sorry okay? I didn't mean to make you upset..." She sighed, ruffling his hair in a gentle manor like he was a little kid. "I guess looks can be deceiving.." She said quietly, stepping out of the living room she went into the kitchen to clean the pot that she'd made the spaghetti in earlier.
She turned on the water and began to clean the dried spaghetti off the inside of the pot, hoping that in the time she was gone he would feel better and forgive her for what she'd said.

He watched her get up from the couch and walk into the kitchen. Sure, he was upset, but he couldn't always stay upset. Wasn't really his nature and he forgave her either way because he couldn't blame her for being so curious. He sighed inaudibly to himself as he stared at the wall for a moment. He then pushed himself off the couch when he heard her turn the sink on and walked to the kitchen, leaning against the wall, his arms crossed as he watched her with a unreadable expression.

"So who is it?" he asked, more like a mumble as he watched her.
