It's Quite Shocking Isn't It? [Silverstone]

Jamilyn stuck her tongue out at him when he told her not to burn the house down. She may have been clumsy walking, but she wasn't clumsy enough to burn down a house!

Filling up the large pot she'd found with water she set it on the stove to heat up, all while opening the can of tomato sauce, and the box of noodles. Hearing the sound of the washing machine, then the running water of the shower made her blush. In fact, she tried to keep herself focused on the cooking. Well, waiting for the water to boil.

When the water began to boil, she put the noodles in and took out a spoon that she found in one of the drawers occasionally stirring the noodles to keep them from sticking the pan. Her mind drifted to idle mode, which allowed her body to work on auto pilot until she heard the water turn off in the bathroom. It signaled her that the noodles had been cooking long enough, so she lifted the pot and strained out the hot water; placing it back onto the stove whilst she grabbed the small amount of milk she'd found in his fridge and a small slice of butter, adding those to the pot with the noodles, she stirred the ingredients.
Turning to grab the tomato sauce, she noticed Ryu watching her. Her hand flew over her mouth as her cheeks turned a bright red. "U..u..h.. Ryu y..you're a.. y..you uh..!" She said, it sounded muffled with her hand over her mouth, but with the sight of him not only watching her but shirtless! Her mind simply couldn't handle, her neck sparked as a result. In a motion to try to cover up her embarrassing display, she grabbed the tomato sauce and quickly turned around to focus on the meal she was cooking. She put the sauce into the pan and stirred, when it smelt ready; she turned off the stove. Taking a few deep breaths she kept herself turned towards the stove, her neck sparked again despite her trying to calm down.

Ryu's eyebrows shoot up as he watched her reaction. He didn't expect her to react that way to him just being shirtless. Then again, he never really walked around shirtless in front of girls and that made him bit back a blush and smirk take place. "Told ya I'm irresistible," he joked, his shoulders shaking from a soft laugh that pasted his lips. He sniffed the air and licked his lips. "That smells delicious." he said with a small grin and walked into the kitchen, reaching towards the fridge and then paused. He forgot his gloves and so couldn't touch the fridge without sending millions of bolts through it. Instead, he ran a hand through his slowly drying hair and sighed. He was a bit to lazy to go back to his room and grab his gloves. To occupy his mind, he approached Jamie whilst grabbing a plate and held it out to her. Good thing plates couldn't really shock people.

"Is it ready?" he asked.

Jamilyn nodded to his joke, fanning herself a little to calm down. " Irresistible. We'll go with that" She swallowed hard and spun around with the wooden spoon she used to stir the ingredients together, offering it to him with a smirk on her face. Her earlier freak out was easily hidden. Or so she hoped. "I hope it tastes good.." She says, then notices him holding out the plate. "It most certainly is"

With a smile she takes the plate from him and fills the empty space with the spaghetti before handing it back to him. She then grabs a fork and spoon, holding those out from him to take. They were metal silverware something she was well aware of, it was a silent test to see if he would be hesitant to take them since they could transmit the electricity from him to her.

Of course he was hesitant. Instead of grabbing the silver spoon and fork, he reached from behind her and grabbed a green plastic kids spork. He grinned and turned around, walking to the living room and plopping himself onto the couch. Lord Meow was on the couch and once Ryu's butt plopped down, the cat gave him a small glare before going back to sleep. He twisted the noodles around his spork, growing a bit frustrated when the noodles wouldn't wrap about the plastic eating utensil, and took a bite. It was delicious as he expected from a cooking programmed android.

"It's great!" he said as he took two more bites before the washer dinged, signaling that his clothes were done and now all they needed was to be placed in the drier.

Jamilyn stuck her tongue out at him again, putting the utensils she'd grabbed down on the counter. Going to the fridge she opened it, and grabbed one of the only cans of soda that was inside. Hoping that would be alright, she walked into the living room with it, placing the can down beside him on the couch since it wasn't open she didn't think he'd mind. Her fingers lightly traced over the fur on Lord Meow's back, in a way she was leaning a bit closer to Ryu than she'd honestly meant to. "I'm glad to hear that. When was the last time you had a home cooked meal anyway?" She asked in a joking manor, looking up at him.

When the washer went off she stood up straight, and went automatically to where she'd heard the sound. Without a thought she emptied it, and placed the wet clothing into the drier. Then reloading the washing machine, putting in the detergent she turned on both machines and went back into the living room.

Jamilyn took a seat on the floor by the couch, leaning her head back against it. She was just beside his legs, making sure to keep her hands folded in her lap to be sure she didn't touch him by accident. "Sorry I'm so weird" She commented, tilting her head back so she could look up at him.

He was about to answer her when she stood up and walked to the laundry room. He blinked as he watched her walk back and sit on the floor by his legs. He chuckled lightly as he took another bite of spaghetti. "Your not weird, Jamie, and it's been a long time since I've had a home cook meal." he said and then took another bite. He finished his plate with two more bites and stood up, walking into the kitchen again and getting another plate full of spaghetti. He then walked back and sat back down.

"It's kind of nice of you, even though your programmed to do something like this. Who know how long it was going to take me to work up the energy to clean this place," he looked to the floor and grinned. "I do believe this is the first time I've ever saw the floor."

Jamilyn adjusted her hands in her lap, "Thanks Ryu, that means a lot" She admits, closing her eyes half way. It didn't really surprise her that he hadn't had a home cooked meal in a long while, but saddened her just a tad bit. As he got up, she did too, moving almost quickly to pick up Lord Meow and take his place on the couch. She set the sleepy feline back down in her lap and pet him gently. Her legs curled under herself so she took up as little place on the couch as she could, not wanting to make him uncomfortable.

"My programming only kicks in if I feel it's needed" She admits more playfully than not, she didn't think he needed her but wanted to make herself useful to him; for he had done so much for her already. When he said it was the first time seeing the floor she arched her eyebrow at him, "Did this place come dirty?" She teases, grinning at him as she continued to pet Lord Meow, who purred quietly in her lap. Biting her lip, the grin left her face; "Maybe, in return for you making my wrists... and kinda being the only person who can charge my battery... I could clean and sometimes cook for you?" She was hesitant with her offer slash question, for it seemed only far for her to do something for him in return for all the things he'd done for her. The redness in her cheeks came when she spoke, along with the spark on her neck which she covered with her hand, gazing at him nervously.

Ryu listened to her talk and smirked at her joked about his house coming dirty before he moved in. He ate while she talked and blinked when she made the offer. He finished his food and set his plate on the low table in front of the couch. He licked his lips and thought about her offer. It was only fair and since they were friends, it kind of didn't feel right to make her pay for her wrists in money.

"That sounds fair enough," he spoke in a light tone. "You got yourself a deal. This place could use a woman's touch." and he grinned a little at the small tease. He looked to her and then the drier dinged, echoing through the house that the clothes were.

He stood up first and quickly to beat Jamie in standing up. He just wanted to put a shirt on, but the reaction he got from Jamie was pretty hilarious. He smirked silently to himself as he walked down the hallway and turned into the laundry room. He opened the dries and pulled of the clothes, dropping them on top of the washier and began to dig through them for a shirt he wanted. He pulled out a plain black t-shirt and decided that would do.

Jamilyn smiled happily when he accepted her offer, her hand went out for him to shake; but by that time he was already up and to the laundry room. "Worried I'll fold them on you?" She calls out, laughing quietly to herself, as she got up gently placing Lord meow in her spot as she took the emptied plate into the kitchen, washing it and then drying it before putting the plate back where it belonged.

"Hey Ryu, when you get a shirt on, can i show you something?" She calls to him, returning to the living room, she once again picks up the feline and goes back to sitting with him in her lap. Her hands however, go to her bandanna, pulling it off to let her short hair free. The cloth stays in her hands, waiting for him to return.

He smirked a bit to himself. She was eager for him to get his shirt on? He shook his head as he chuckled a bit.Ryu walked into the living room whilst pulling his shirt one. He then pulled his gloves on and then placed his goggles lopsidedly on his head right where they belonged. He tilted his head to the side a little bit wondering what she wanted to show him.

"What is it?" he asked as he stood across from her, fixing his gloves a little bit. He hoped it had nothing to do with touching him because he would be a little bit hesitant with that.

Jamilyn played nervously with the cloth in her hands, when he came back her eyes went to observe that he had in fact put on a shirt and even his gloves & goggles. That was good, she guessed but then got up again, disturbing Lord Meow for the third and last time, the feline padded away with an annoyed look.
"I wanted to um.. well you really seemed interested with my circuits the other day.. so.. um.. I wanted to let you um.. see my control panel.." She was nervous, it showed in her speech and the way she kept crumbling the cloth in her hand. Taking a deep breath she turned around so her back was to him, he'd trusted her enough to let her touch his bare hand; she wanted to show that same trust in him by letting him see the motherboard that kept her running. Her hands went to the back of her neck, lifting up her hair to reveal a small disk drive. The panel needed a code to open, so above it on the back of her head was a number pad that was so easily hidden by her hair. "The code is 52647666.. I trust you to not shut me down" Her tone was still nervous but it was evident she was trying to sound playful. Her control panel was that of her motherboard, it held everything that made Jamilyn who she was; it was his choice to look at it or not, but she wouldn't offer again.

Ryu's face grew unreadable as he watched her turn and lift up her hair, telling him he could look at her control panel. He could hear how nervous she was about letting him see a big part of her, a part of her design that made up who she was. His hands twitched a bit and he had to admit, it was all tempting to look and study, but the way she looks and her voice. He approached her, but instead of going behind her like she probably suspected he would, he sat down in front of her, reached behind her for her hands and gently pulled them away towards him.

"Jamie, you don't need to force yourself to trust me with something pretty valuable. Your nervous and not ready. I can suspect that this was probably a once in a life time chance for you to offer, but I can't... not when your so nervous." he said softly as he watched her. It was all very tempting to just go behind her and see her control panel that she was offering, but he couldn't. He wanted her feel ready and not so nervous. He also didn't want her to feel like she had to since he took a big step in letting her touch his bare hand.

Jamilyn closed her eyes when she heard him step towards her, but when instead he took hold of her hands, they reopened looking confused. She let out a held in breath of air, stretching her fingers out against his while he spoke. 'If I didn't know any better I'd say we were having a very different conversation' Her thoughts were silent, while he spoke she gave him a sheepish smile.
"You're more noble than I am... " Her eyes went from his face to his hands then back again. She hadn't refused his offer even though he'd said straight out he hadn't been ready, it made her shoulders slump a bit feeling bad even though she shouldn't have. Tilting her head she kept her hands against his, furrowing her eyebrows just a little. In that moment she wanted to embrace him with a hug, to say non-verbally her 'thank you', but she knew he wouldn't be okay with that so all that happened was a spark on her neck. "I won't be nervous forever, I'll offer again sometime" She tries to liven the mood that she felt brewing the air, giving him a slight smirk.

Ryu grinned a little and with hesitant hands, released one of her's and brushed back a stray hair from her face. "And I'll be waiting patiently for that moment." he said as his grin grew soft.
He felt like that was a old move for he's never really done anything like that to anyone. He wished he would feel what her hair felt like. He knew what his hair felt like, but what did another person's hair feel like? That was a silly thought and he didn't ponder another minute on it. Instead, he pondered on whether she needed more new parts. He wanted to ask, but his lips didn't move to form the question. He just stared at her and realizing that he was, he look down at their linked hands as if something interesting was happening there. What should he say or do? His brows furrowed in thought as he tried to think of something else to say or do. Expect, his thoughts wondered back to their earlier conversation about her not wanting 'all' the boys...

Jamilyn's eyes widened just a tad when he spoke, then when he brushed her hair aside. It made her not only blush but smile at him. "Patience is a virtue isn't it?" Her voice was softer than it had been, looking down at the hand she still held, her fingers adjusted so that she had them pressed against his, seeing the difference in the size of their hands. Hers was smaller, but wasn't that the way with boys and girls? the size difference anyway. It was then she felt eyes on her, making her look up right as his diverted, what was happening in this silence, a feeling she couldn't comprehend floated in her motherboard trying to decipher it. "Hey... when you touched my hand without your glove on.. did you feel it?" She asks quietly, wanting to know if he'd felt the texture of her metal hand more or less asking if he could feel things when he didn't have the brown gloves on.

Ryu blinked and looked at her now. He understood what she meant and yes, he did feel the texture of her skin. Her hands were cold, but soft none the less and he suspected that all girls hands were soft. After a while of silence, he replied, "Yes,"
He could feel things without his gloves on. He could feel the walls of the house, the couch, but he couldn't touch the remote, his T.V., fridge, microwave, stove, or anything needing electricity. His element felt kind of like a curse to him, but it could all go away if he just trained his element to not go wild when he didn't have the gloves on. And that training needed to come from another elemental who had the same element as him... which was his father. His face grew a dark for a second, but quickly changed to unreadable. He didn't want to think about that man right now.

Jamilyn gave him a confident smile, "Do you think you could tell me what things feel like? Like the air... clothes.. your hair? my hair?" She asks in a sheepish manor as her free hand reached up to touch a strand of his hair, she couldn't feel things period, just the density of something she held. It made her feel a bit sad when she really thought about it, but she wasn't thinking of sadness in his presence he made her happy.

She happened to look up when the dark expression crossed his features, even if it were for such a short time her eyes read it. Concern washed through her eyes as she gently squeezed his hand, bringing it close to her chest. "Is something bothering you?" He didn't have to tell her, but she was worried. Such a look didn't come for no reason, had she upset him with the question about 'feeling' things.

Ryu shook his head and forced a grin to spread on his lips. "No, it's nothing. Um, yeah I can tell you," he said and looked down at his clothes. "It depends on what type of clothes your wearing, I guess. My t-shirt is smooth and my sweat pants for example. Jeans are a little bit... rough, but smooth. Your sun dress is smooth also." he blushed a bit and looked to the side a bit. He wasn't that great at describing things and that what he was trying to described worked for her. He continued either way.

"The air... it's air. It feels cold sometimes, but warm, it's like a mix. My hair is soft and I haven't felt your hair, but I suppose it's soft also." He looked down at her hands and then looked at her with a soft yet sad look. "You really can't feel anything?" He understood how that felt, but he thought that at least she would be designed to have nerves that could feel textures.

Jamilyn listened with enthusiasm, her eyes bright like someone hearing a wonderful story. She looked to each item he described, and nodded taking the information in about it, her hand that wasn't holding onto his lightly went over each item as well, trying hard to feel what he was describing.
"Soft, huh? You can feel my hair if you'd like... since we know your power can't really hurt me.." She offers, leaning her head towards him. When he looked at her with such a softness in his expression she looked away, biting her lip. "No.. I can't. Well, I have nerves built into me, but they have to be turned on manually... Ironically the switch is on my control panel" She laughed a bit at that, she couldn't very well work on her own control panel, because she'd go into sleep mode when it was taken out. "Maybe you could turn it on for me?" Her offer was still on the table, as she played with his hand, like it were a toy she'd never really had before, gently curling and uncurling his fingers to see how they moved on a human.

Ryu blinked and nodded a bit. "If you want, I can, if your not nervous. You just have to tell me which button it is." he said and a smile appeared on his face. Maybe he would get to study her control panel after all today. While she was busy playing with his hand, he had somehow removed his glove from his free hand and placed a hand on top of her head. He ran a hand through her hair and glanced at her as his hand pulled away. "Your hair is soft..." he trailed off for a moment.

"I don't feel nervous anymore... I really do trust you Ryu.." Jamilyn says, adjusting herself into a kneeling position. When he touched her hair, she felt the weight of his hand and closed her eyes. Peeking one open as he spoke again.

"Soft? Like my personality right?" She murmured, lifting his gloved hand up to really look at it. "May I?" Her eyes displayed her question, she wanted to take his glove off and try something, but would only do so if he allowed it.

Ryu blinked and shrugged. "If you trust me then I trust you." he said and then chuckled a little bit at her earlier comment. "Yes, you have a rather soft, but bright personality."

He titled his head to the side a bit and wondered what she was plotting in that robotic head of her's. He hoped it wasn't something too dangerous or... awkward... He still wasn't used to skin to skin contact, but he supposed he should start getting used to it with Jamie around.

Jamilyn nearly clapped her hands when he gave her permission, but couldn't help thinking that would have seemed silly. So instead she quietly removed his glove, holding his now bare hand. Her teeth gritted just a little at the feeling of the electricy that radiated off of him. With a deep intake of air, she shook her head becoming used to the voltage he produced. It didn't hurt, but felt like a constant tingle like the sparks that sometimes came from her.
"So can I ask why you don't have dozens of fan girls running around this place?" she asked suddenly, trying to escape her own thoughts, wanting to know more about him while she lifted his bare hand to her cheek. She wondered what the metal there felt like, was it identical to her hand? Or was there a difference between her body parts? She could feel his uneasiness, but she wasn't doing anything too odd was she? When she felt she'd kept his hand on her face for too long she moved it to the base of her neck. He had said he hadn't felt what other people felt like, when she'd asked the other day. Even though she wasn't human, she hoped that her robotic limbs would suffice.

After a few moments of letting his hand sit on the base of her neck she moved it to the back of her neck, looking up at him with her bright eyes. "Im sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable..." she began to let go of his hand, leaving it at the back of her neck. He could move his hand freely if he felt uncomfortable. Her hands went into her lap, biting her lip.

Before Ryu could answer her most amusing question about why he didn't have girls drooling over him outside his house, his breath and words were caught in his throat as Jamie placed his bare hand on her cheek. Shock saturated his face and a speechless mouth watched as Jamie moved his hand from her cheek to the base of her neck. It was quite unexpected from Jamie and his fingers felt stiff because he just couldn't quite process (mostly believe) what she was doing as she then moved his hand to behind her neck. Slowly, he began to lose his shock expression and the choking words disappeared. He had something witty for her question, but it was lost now. He hand laid at the back of her neck, frozen, but his eyes were on her the surprise not net leaving his eyes as much as his features.

"I...I don't know," was his quiet reply and he felt himself swallow a lump in his throat. He had notice some double passing glances he got from females, but he would pay them little mind for he was sometimes cold to strangers and or lost in his own world. Ryu may put off that vibe that he was those type of guys that would like a long line of girls behind him, fawning and squealing for him, but that wasn't really what he wanted. It would be quite annoying if he had a screaming group of girls outside his house, no?

More importantly, he never had so much skin to skin contact with anyone much less a girl. He had read a lot---and is rather ashamed to admit that in his thoughts---of romance books in his spare time that he would, possibly, knew what to do in this situation, but he was still so inexperienced with interacting with the opposite gender that he just stayed the way he was. He was a bit terrified, though didn't let it show on his features, to move his hand from where it was that he wished she hadn't stopped being it's guide.

Jamilyn's head tilted watching his expression. Had she done done something wrong to make him react in such a way? Her lips pursed as she gently took hold of his hand again, bringing it around so she could look at it whilst looking at him. When he didn't move it, she assumed she could. "i think I broke you.." she says in a soft tone, an apologetic smile crossed her lips.

"is it because you enjoy the company of machines rather than that of humans?" her eyes close halfway, slowly moving his hand again. She guided it down her upper arm, over the bare skin that resided there. She wondered what he was thinking, was her guiding his hand what was making him seem so.. Surprised? "Have you ever touched anyone like this before?" she murmured, looking up at him through her eyelashes, giving her an unintentional alluring gaze. She didn't mean to make him uncomfortable muc less surprise him into this type of reaction.

Biting her lip she places his hand on her knee, "Ill stop if you say to.." her hand rested on top of his, waiting to see what he'd say
