Alaric's Past

Hey everyone! This is a head's up for those who wonder how Roku's life was like before he had lost his memory! I hope you like, Part 1!

The day was normal for all who lived on the planet known as Everstar, this planet was a wonderful color with both white and purple. Life on this planet was indeed something magical for the residents of such a planet took care of their planet as well as their own kind. Alaric was indeed a strong man who feared nothing and tried his best to take care of everyone. Alaric's parents were old and very weak but they still lived on all thanks to their sons order for everyone to take care of the weak and ill. Alaric's father use to be a man who ruled the planet quite well, and he was the first to hold the Alaric name. Alaric's mother was a kind soul who loved everyone and everything, and thought that life should be lived to the fullest. Both parents had Alaric when they were very young, both parents were near the same age when their son was born. Not everyone knew of the name of Alaric's mother and so they called her Sasha which was but a common name that belonged to a women with such a pure heart. The couple lived well with their son that they named Alaric much similar to his father's name. Life was easy and peaceful for the couple, which thus allowed them to live as long as they did. Alaric's father was far to old and weak to lead the residents of Everstar and so Alaric was chosen. Everyone was happy about the news and welcomed him into the position as leader.

Growing up was quite a fun thing for Alaric, unlike other planets many allowed their kids to smoke or drink and in this case Alaric picked up smoking at a very young age. (Roku thought he learned it from the people who saved him when really he was doing it way before losing his memory.) Alaric had a good friend named Zach when he was growing up, they did everything together and they stood by eachother which made many of the residents happy. The planet of Everstar was indeed a peaceful place for it held all kinds of nature, this nature was so different from any other nature around. Alaric grew up into a fine man within this nature along with Zach being his friend grew up well and they both decided to lead their planet into a better future. Alaric proved his leadership skills when meteors came close to their planet, both Zach and Alaric worked together to avoid the attack. Both of them were named heroes however many placed the 'Hero' on Alaric for he was the leader of the planet as well as the population.

Zach grew lightly jealous of Alaric but at the same time he admired him, and wanted to be like him. No one would expect that life on a planet so different from any other was such a great place. Alaric continued his life on his own and would come a host weddings that would happen upon his planet. Seeing couples get together before his eyes did not faze him one bit though at night was it a different story. Alaric would lay alone in bed with a expression full of pain and utter sorrow. Zach his friend even had a lady to go home too. Was it hard to believe that everyone on the planet of Everstar had a partner and had kids already while Alaric had no wife or kids. Perhaps he was to busy and many of the ladies knew this and so decided to stay away from him and his hectic life style.

Alaric would never get enough sleep, he would do his rounds at night and at the day time. Commonly seen with his parents however seemed to be his normal routine, never would he miss a chance to be with them and chat with them. The chatting with his parents seemed to make him less lonely. However, his mother would always ask him questions about why he was alone still. Alaric could not say anything to his mother when she spoke of such things and tried to change the subject which worried his parents more.

Part 2!

No one understood why Alaric chose to stay alone, he would grow lightly bitter to couples and most of the time he stayed away from them. Some believed it was cause he was afraid to be close to anyone and thus lose everything to them by marrying them. Divorces happen in marriages and some guessed he was afraid of that happening to him. Days happened normally in Everstar, however the only difference was that it stayed sunny till about close to ten at night. Alaric did work everyday, he helped in the fields and helped many people out with normal chores. There was nothing that he couldn't do and a lot of the people liked him for his hard work and even fairness. Zach admired him more like a hero, and tried to do things much like how Alaric did. Plenty of people watched as Zach helped out along with Alaric on the fields and were happy none the less, both friends smiled together as they worked together. During the end of the working shift which started when the sun left the sky did Alaric return to his parent's side. Always known to sit at a stool and listen to them, Alaric never missed the chance to speak to them about his experiences. Both parents were happy when he came by but at the same time they felt a little worried and concerned. Alaric knew this, deep down he knew that they were worried for him and truthfully he was worried about himself too.

Near midnight did Alaric leave his parent's side to let them rest, it was at this time when he noticed Zach walking along outside. Surprised by this did he went down to where Zach was, within the courtyard did Zach stop and jumped only then to sigh and laugh. Alaric had his hands on his hips with a proud smirk over his face, the friends enjoyed eachother's company quite well. Zach and Alaric walked alone outside with their heads high up in the clouds, they talked about their childhood and would laugh at eachother's mistakes. Zach then brought up a serious topic, he was going to get married. Alaric was surprised by this and stopped looking at Zach as he continued on for about two steps. Everyone on Everstar was married, besides Zach and his girlfriend. Now they to were going to get married and this concerned Alaric, Zach noticed this and smiled lightly.

"Alaric, no matter what happens you will always be my friend."
"...!"
"Honestly I was surprised by this. She really wants to get married and so I decided to go ahead and marry her. Will you uh marry us?"
"...Sure."

Alaric smiled and Zach laughed with his eyes closed, approaching his friend did Zach place his hand on his shoulder. Noticing the kind gesture did Alaric return it by taking his friends opposite shoulder and nodded with a smile. It was then that it was decided that they were to be married a week from now. Everyone was happy, Zach was pleased and tried his best to make his wedding beautiful. Not only just that but fun for Alaric. Of course, under the peaceful life of Everstar was there danger brewing underneath. No one knew this but there was someone who did not approved of Alaric, he wanted to get rid of him and rule the planet. The things were being gathered for Zach's wedding, Alaric was giving order's for everything and held a big smile over his features. Everyone did not disobey Alaric for they wanted this wedding to be a good one. However, someone stopped the plans by pushing someone over who held the wedding cake. Alaric was surprised by this, and so was everyone else. Standing before Alaric was a man of six foot five with black hair down past his back. Everyone became scared though they did not fear long for Alaric was there. The man going against the wedding was named Zamock and he hated Alaric with a passion.

Part 3!

Zamock smirked toward Alaric which brought a world known tension in the room, no one said a word though Zach came in and noticed that his cake was on the floor. Alaric blinked and looked to Zach and tried to explain what had happened though he didn't get to finish since Zamock pointed at Alaric and told him what he was going to do to him. Zach and Alaric were suprised by this bold gesture, never had they thought that someone hated Alaric. The whole time leading the planet he had thought he was doing good, then again there was always someone who went against someone else. Zach was upset and pointed to Zamock as he told him what he had thought of his stupid threat. Everyone within the room agreed with Zach which made Zamock mad, he was the first to attack Zach square in the face. Everyone rushed in, Alaric included joined the fight. Things were calmed as soon as Zamock and Zach were broken apart. Alaric glared at Zamock and told him what he had thought of him and pointed outward toward the cell. It only took a few men to escort Zamock out of the room. As soon as he was gone did they redo everything, and acted like nothing happened. Zach apologized to Alaric of course, not that he needed too since Alaric also apologized at the same time. Both of them laughed at the other and continued on with their plans.

Zamock sat in jail with a angered look about him, though that ended for he smiled now recalling what he had done way before being thrown in jail. He had planted a bomb in a house that he thought was Alaric's and pulled out the device to set off the bomb. His plan was set into action and he waited until the next hour to press it, Zamock had been in jail for five days and he figured it was a good day than any to go ahead and set off the bomb. During this time, Zach was returning home, the plans were set and the wedding would happen in two days. Happiness spread through his body only then to be replaced with terror. A large explosion happened at his house and he ran toward it to save his love from the flames. It was night when this had happened and it awoke everyone up from their slumber. Alaric was with his parents at the time and heard the explosion from the top of the tower of the main center. Everyone ran to the location, Alaric arrived much like everyone else. Surprise came over his face as he saw Zach ran out with his girlfriend in his arms, Alaric dashed over and helped Zach out. Everyone was doing what they could to ease the flames. At this time Zamock got out of jail and fled from his prison, from afar was he mad to see that his plan had failed to kill Alaric. Zach smiled to Alaric only then to faint, Alaric with his hands occupied with Zach's girlfriend did he order someone to help.

Morning arose and the flames were put out, Zach was in the hospital and he had suffered many burns throughout his body. Zach's girlfriend Gina was weeping in the waiting room with her parents, Alaric was there and was praying for his friend to recover. The nurse came out of the room and asked Alaric to go into Zach's room. Confusion could be seen on everyone's face within the waiting room, though no one spoke a word. Alaric nodded and followed the nurse into Zach's room. Zach's body was covered in bandages, half of his face could be seen as he smiled to his friends arrival. Alaric felt a cold air brush his shoulder's though thought nothing of it at the time, he approached carefully and smiled to Zach. Alaric was stunned however when Zach said these words. "I am so glad that you tried your best for me and my wedding. You are really a true friend, it just hurts me not being able to see you get married. I love you my friend." Alaric was about to say something only then to freeze seeing that Zach had closed his eyes and died. The burn's were to great as well as the inhale of smoke that Zach had taken in. No one could survive such a force by going inside of it without thought, Zach though did have a plan and that was to save Gina. Alaric left the room and shared the news with Gina and her parents, all three of them were sad. The plans for a wedding were then changed to a funeral.

It was a sad day, Alaric was feeling the pain right when he entered the building that held funerals. Everyone was weeping and it took so much strength not to weep with them, when he approached the casket however did that strength die. Alaric fell to his knees and covered his face with his palms, his fingers curled into a fist as he shook silently. Gina approached Alaric and held him around the neck. Everyone was sad to Zach's passing. Everyone stopped their cries when the casket was buried, Alaric though was the only one who wept. This was why everyone loved Alaric, his heart was sensitive much like everyone elses. Gina stood by Alaric and held onto him, she tried her best to comfort him. It was hard for Alaric, they were friends and did everything together. Through childhood years unto their teenage years only then ending into their adult years was their friendship strong. Though, when one dies the other feels lost. Alaric nodded to Gina as he tried his best to calm down, his men approached and told him the news that Zamock escaped. Shock was etched on his face, only then to be replaced with rage as he ran off with his men leaving Gina behind at the grave.
